What is a Brand Account in Youtube?

It's an account specifically for your brand and different of your personal account that YouTube provides to those who want multiple people managing the channel in a company. It's also helpful to those who have multiple channels.

I have a Brand Account, but why it does not appear in the Google official login when you try to use the Youtube connector in Dataslayer?

This is because Youtube has some limitations on the Brand Account permissions. One of this limitations is that the people you invite to manage the channel can only do it in Youtube Studio, they CANNOT manage it via YouTube APIs.

Our connectors only work with the official data source APIs (Google in this case), and Dataslayer acts as a link between the data sources and the user, so the metrics, dimensions and permissions available depend on these APIs, not on us. The APIs and the data source platforms are different and independent products.
