LinkedIn Pages API field changes from February 2023

In February 2023, certain fields in our LinkedIn Pages data source will be discontinued and new fields will be added

In June 2022, LinkedIn introduced API Versioning and new Content APIs to make it easier for developers to build with ease and manage API changes with predictability. With the new APIs, LinkedIn plan to sunset the unversioned APIs and legacy Content APIs (Shares API, UGC API) on February 28, 2023.

You can learn more about API versioning at LinkedIn and the new Content APIs through this link.

What does this imply?

The LinkedIn API migration makes it pointless to separate UGC Posts and Update Details as everything can be pulled from the same API, plus the old dimensions gave duplicate data.
