Did you get the bad request error in Looker Studio?

When connecting to one of our Looker Studio connectors, have you seen the following error?

Don't worry, here's how to fix it.

What is the reason for this error?

This error is not related to Dataslayer. It is a Google error that happens when you have different accounts logged in.

This happens because maybe you tried to log in with the one of your accounts, but google is trying to access the credentials of other account you also have logged in.

Example: You wanted to log in with Account 2 but Google is taking account 1 when trying to log in.

How to solve it?

When this happens, you can try to change the number of the account on the URL from 1 to 10, and see if it works correctly with any of them.

If didn't work, please log out of all your Google accounts and try using Looker Studio with the same Google account you are logged into your browser with, and then refresh the page.

The Looker Studio account must be the same as the default Chrome account.

Pro tip: You can also avoid this Google error by opening Google Sheets or Looker Studio from an incognito window.

As always, please contact us via our live chat on our website or via email if you still have doubts or questions. We are happy to help!
