Are you looking for a metric or dimension in one of our connectors but can't find it?

In this article we give you all the information about it and explain how to request it.

Our connectors only work with the official data source APIs (Meta, Google, etc.), and Dataslayer acts as a link between the data sources and the user, so the metrics and dimensions available depend on these APIs, not on us.

The APIs and the data source consoles are different and independent products, so not all of their metrics or dimensions match or are the same. For example, there are metrics in the Google Ads API that are not in the Google Ads console, as they are unique to the API, and vice versa. This is something that depends on Google.

Therefore, we cannot decide what metrics or dimensions are in each connector, this is something external to Dataslayer that depends on the API of each data source.

Can I request a metric or dimension I need?

If you find a metric or dimension that is available in the datasource console but not in Dataslayer, and you want to know if it can be added, send us a screenshot of that metric or dimension in the original datasource and write to us via our web chat or via our email.

Note: don't forget to send the console screenshot of the data source so that we can confirm if that metric or dimension can be added.

If it is a metric that is not found in the data source console, it most likely cannot be added.
