Klaviyo: Authentication guide

This guide will walk you through how to authenticate or reauthenticate Klaviyo in Dataslayer for Google Sheets, Looker Studio, BigQuery, and API Query Manager.
Open our Google Sheets extension, our Looker Studio connector, our API Query Manager or our BigQuery products.
Select our Klaviyo integration. A new window will open in your browser. You need your Klaviyo Public API Key / Site ID and your Klaviyo Private API Key.
To connect Dataslayer to Klaviyo, you need at least Manager, Admin, or Owner roles. Other roles cannot create private API keys. Learn more about the Klaviyo roles here.

To find where are both API Keys, you have to follow these steps:
Go and log in to Klaviyo.
Click on your profile.

Click on Settings under the account you want to add into Dataslayer.

In the Account Settings, click on API keys, and Create a new Private API Key if you don't have any yet.

Fill in the Private API Key Name and select at least the Read-only Key scope. Then click on Create.

In the next screen, you will be able to copy your Private API Key and paste it into the Dataslayer login page.

Now, from this page, you can copy your Public API Key and your Private API Key (in case you didn't do it on step #6), and paste them into the Dataslayer login page.

That's all! You should be now connected with Klaviyo into Dataslayer.
Connecting multiple Klaviyo accounts
If you want to pull data for multiple Klaviyo accounts, you will need to repeat the authentication process for each one. However, take into account that you will be only able to work with one account per query.
To better understand the Klaviyo connector behavior, we encourage you to read this article.
